Positive Reinforcement This is a positive reinforcement classroom. The key to effective classroom management is to support our students' good behavior in a positive manner. Each month, a positive idea is chosen to motivate good behavior. Positive reinforcement ideas are chosen by the class and may include things such as raffle tickets, coupons, lunch with me, no homework passes, extra time during recess, King or Queen for the day, extra computer time, class party, and others. There are also consequences for poor school and classroom behavior. However, students are always given chances to make correct choices when poor behavior occurs.
